Water Taxi Service

Private water taxis and shuttles ferry you throughout the harbor areas of Baltimore and Annapolis. County governments and private companies also provide ferry service over many of Maryland’s major waterways to areas in and around the Chesapeake Bay.

More than 700 commercial marinas are located on the Chesapeake Bay, ranging from small to large facilities with hundreds of transient slips and easy access to many of the area’s attractions.

Bus Service

The MTA operates 70 Local, Express and Commuter bus lines throughout Central and Southern Maryland. Basic fares are $1.60 one-way ($2 for Express one-way) or a $3.50 Day Pass for unlimited daily trips on MTA Local Buses, Light Rail and Metro Subway.
