The Norton Group in the School of Animal and Comparative Biomedical Sciences (SACBS) in the College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences (CALES) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate I. This position's work location is the Campus Agricultural Center (CAC).
The successful candidate will work independently using a variety of omics data to assess genomic risk factors for equine metabolic syndrome. This position will involve a diverse range of activities from basic laboratory maintenance to analysis of omics datasets. The successful candidate will have an inquisitive, well-organized, and highly motivated person who is open to evolving research tasks and capable of developing and writing code related to computational analysis.
